    For most Heating Oil tanks, the gauge is a glass or plastic vial on top with a red float. For Propane tanks, there is a dial under the heavy metal lid. We recommend calling for a refill when your gauge reaches 30%. This gives us enough lead time to get a truck to your property before you reach a critical low level.
