How long has S.J. Johnson been serving the Maryland community?
S.J. Johnson has been a family-owned staple in Maryland for over 25 years. We started in 2001 by providing pool water and sand delivery, and we have since grown into a full-service home comfort provider offering propane, fuel oil, water treatment, and gas fireplace services throughout Southern Maryland.
Will I have to speak to an automated system when I call?
No. One of our core values is providing a personal touch. During business hours, every phone call is answered by a live human being. We don't believe in call centers or "press 1" menus—we are here to talk to you directly to ensure your needs are met quickly and seamlessly.
Do you offer services beyond just fuel delivery?
Absolutely. While we are a leader in propane and heating oil delivery, we are a comprehensive home comfort partner. Our highly trained service team also specializes in gas fireplace repairs, water softener installation and salt delivery, tankless water heater services, and even pool water delivery.
What is your "No-Run-Out Guarantee"?
For customers enrolled in our tank monitoring program, we offer a "no-run-out guarantee." By using advanced technology to track your fuel levels in real-time, we schedule your deliveries automatically, so you never have to worry about a cold house or an empty tank during a winter storm.

While we are not the oldest or biggest company we do feel we offer the greatest customer service when it comes to not only our delivery services, such as: propane, fuel, and pool water, but also our other services like; gas fireplaces, water heaters and water softeners.
